An Outside Elastico is a very important move for any soccer player. The goal of this maneuver is to quickly cut back in towards the field from the outer flanks. For starters, place a cone or something similar as a marker on the ground. Take 5 steps away from the cone. Start dribbling in that direction. As you get closer to the cone you should make a touch that’s small on the outside and then back into the inside. The outside touch will trick your opponents. Know that you need to make the second touch larger than the one you did first. Don’t just train your strong foot; your weak foot needs training time too. Being versatile with your feet as a soccer player is very important. This allows you to shield better, change direction quicker on cuts and allow pitching from different sides.
